CEO & EXECUTIVE PRODUCER, ICBC

Alex Rogers is a visionary entrepreneur, political activist and the founder of several influential cannabis businesses over the past 30 years. He is the mastermind behind the International Cannabis Business Conference (ICBC)—the first and largest international business conference producing events across multiple continents. He is renowned worldwide for connecting elite industry leaders and also serves as the CEO of the members-only Talman House, created to connect entrepreneurs seeking capital with investors ready to deploy capital in Europe’s emerging industry. Alex Rogers also played a crucial role in professionalizing and mainstreaming the United States’ cannabis industry by founding one of the most popular medical cannabis clinics, which became the first to advertise medical cannabis on network television. A Magna Cum Laude graduate in Political Science, Rogers’ passion is leveraging his influence to shape cannabis policy globally. Alex has successfully advocated for progressive cannabis reform on the global stage, including in California, Oregon, Germany and Slovenia. His foundational work with legendary pioneer Jack Herer and his incredible influence globally have cemented Rogers’ legacy as both a successful international cannabis entrepreneur and a global policy influencer.

CONFERENCE MASTER OF CEREMONIES

Ngaio Bealum is one of the premiere cannabis comics in the United States and you’ll see why he has performed at just about every Hempfest on the West Coast and too many cannabis-related events to even keep track of. He has appeared on Comedy Central, BET, MTV and many other networks and shows across your television dial. Very recently, he was a featured guest on the hilarious podcast of Doug Benson (Super High Me, Half-Baked), Getting Doug With High. In addition to his cannabis comedy, he is the former editor of West Coast Cannabis Magazine and has been a tireless activist for legalization. While Ngaio’s comedy is hilarious whether you are a full-fledged member of the cannabis community or not, it certainly doesn’t hurt.

Honoring Peter Homberg And Looking Toward The Future

Paying tribute to a German legend and carrying on his legacy
Judith Heimbürger of gunnercooke will pay tribute to Peter Homberg. Mr. Homberg blessed the international cannabis community with exceptional professionalism, a deep understanding of both market dynamics and the people who shape them, as well as his rare ability to strike precisely the right tone, offering not only legal clarity but practical, solution‑oriented guidance. Judith Heimbürger will then turn to the topic that mattered deeply to Peter Homberg before his sudden passing: the draft amendment to the MedCanG. This presentation will provide an overview of the latest developments and explore the anticipated implications for market participants in Germany.
Germany has been the spearhead of the legalization of medicinal and recreational cannabis in Europe…

Dr. Fischer studied medicine in Cologne and Boston and earned his doctorate with a multi-award-winning scientific dissertation. His research has been published internationally, and his findings on the effects of antidepressants have been featured in international media outlets such as Time Magazine.
